Primary Responsibilities

Frank provides consulting, training, facilitation, and mentoring to Connecticut manufacturers and service providers – focusing on utilization of Lean tools for efficiency improvement, increases in throughput, quality improvement, and top-line growth. His Lean core competencies include Value Stream Mapping, Structured Problem-Solving / Root-Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Visual Management, Design for Manufacturing, Mistake-Proofing, and Setup Reduction/SMED. Frank is also Training Within Industry (TWI), Job Instruction (JI), and Job Relations (JR) certified. He will also leverage his extensive knowledge of automotive industry disciplines for use in risk analysis, quality improvement, process control, and new product launch processes such as DFMEA/PFMEA, Statistical Process Control, and DVP&R/PVP&R.

Notable Performances

Frank has accumulated more than 20 years of engineering and manufacturing experience through a number of positions in Manufacturing / Design Engineering, Operations Management, and Continuous Improvement.  His career has included product launches and production startups throughout Connecticut as well as internationally. He has also managed multiple Value Streams in high-production environments – facilitating events for continuous improvement while maintaining P&L responsibility for the operation.

Achievements

A graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Frank received a Bachelor’s of Science with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering and has studied Business Management at Quinnipiac University. He received Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) certification during his career with United Technologies, and has been certified in both Lean Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing through ‘Bootcamp’ training at Parker-Hannifin Corporation.
