The LEAD Program

“Unlike other leadership training, this program tied continuous improvement initiatives back to the financials – the P&L and balance sheet – instead of only justifying Lean improvements with time reduction. When it’s all said and done, Lean activities must have an impact on the bottom line and this program very clearly shows how to generate the link.”  – Chris DiPentima, Pegasus Manufacturing

LEAD: Leveraging Executives Ability to Deploy Strategy

Most companies have experienced significant impact with the adoption of Lean methodologies. However, often these same companies have not changed the core beliefs in how a Lean business works and are not obtaining the hoped for breakthrough results, despite their significant investment in Lean activities. This is a leadership issue.

CEO’s often report lack of engagement, accountability and buy-in by many in the organization, and in all too many cases, report that despite frequent, successful Lean activities, the improvements are not sustained due to the lack of true strategic deployment. This is a leadership issue.

These leaders also note that Lean has provided many benefits, but they cannot actually quantify the financial impact of Lean activities. This is a leadership issue.

The LEAD program is about creating and leading a sustainable Lean culture that provides financial impact, leading to  profitable growth of the business.

This is not a Lean training program
  • The LEAD Program is a professionally facilitated, interactive roundtable for the top leader and their reports to engage in a meaningful dialogue about their specific business transformation to a Lean culture.
  • The LEAD Program teaches executives how Lean provides the gas pedal for profitable growth, increasing the value of the business.
  • The LEAD Program is a series of six half-day sessions for executives facilitated by CONNSTEP, designed to help leaders create the right environment for sustainable improvement. Sessions are spaced to allow for “back home” work and a one-day, on-site coaching session with each company team. Each session will follow a learn-do, learn-do pedagogy.
  • The LEAD Program provides a confidential setting for executives from up to four companies. Designed for a maximum of 12 attendees, the LEAD Program offers an opportunity to talk in a small group setting with other leaders facing the same challenges.  Share your insights and gain knowledge from your peers.
