Made in CT Manufacturer: Centrix, Inc.

January 09, 2013

by Leslie Silverman

We’re happy to showcase Centrix, Inc. as this week’s Made in CT manufacturer. Centrix, Inc. is located in Shelton, Connecticut.

Centrix was created in 1970 from an idea of Dr. William B. Dragan’s to bring to the dental profession an easier way to deliver composite resins and cements from the mixing pad to the tooth. For over 40 years, Centrix has continued to grow while always keeping an eye on product quality and simplicity of use. Their commitment to the dental profession is evident in the always listening ear they provide. By listening to the profession and hearing what they say Centrix has remained an industry leader; developing better dental products that help dentists in their everyday practice. Centrix has even promised no price increases in 2013. They will keep all 2012 pricing in place for the new year.

Centrix is also dedicated to corporate responsibility. Through work with The National Children’s Oral Health Foundation, World Wide Smiles, and various mission trips to provide dental care to needy children around the world, Centrix continually supports efforts to prevent all children from suffering with unnecessary dental disease. They also support the next generation of dental professions by funding a scholarship endowment through the University of Bridgeport’s Fones School of Dental Hygiene.
