CONNSTEP Hires New Sales Leader

(Hartford, CT, March 1, 2023) – CONNSTEP, the Connecticut Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center, announced today the hiring of a senior manufacturing sales professional to its executive team at the company.

Matthew Wurtzel is the new Director of Sales and Business Development at CONNSTEP. He will lead a team of Regional Managers who serve small to medium-sized manufacturers across Connecticut, while contributing to new business development efforts for the organization.

With more than 20 years of experience, he has an extensive manufacturing sales background in the pet food and product industry, consumer packaged goods, as well as injection mold, wood, and metal products.
