Connecticut Apprenticeship Programs

ITEC Connecticut
Employer Partnership for Sustainable Talent Acquisition and Training
Through collaboration with the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GACCNY), Connecticut employers have access to a complete resource for implementing and managing Registered Apprenticeship programs for both new hires and incumbent workers.
WHY JOIN THE CONSORTIUM?
- A Lead Partner in Excellence: We are building upon the best-practice training standards established by industry. By joining, you gain access to pre-approved, Department of Labor (DOL) registered training occupations that are standardized for regional excellence.
- Overcoming the Awareness Gap: Marketing a single-company program is challenging. iTEC CT provides coordinated regional marketing and recruitment, building community trust and interest in the apprenticeship career model.
- Expert Mentorship Training: Success depends on the quality of the mentor. Our 15-hour "Train the Trainer" seminar prepares your skilled workers and administrators to effectively transfer knowledge and lead successful programs.
- Full Administrative Support: From DOL registration and government coordination to apprentice performance tracking via our ApprentiScope training management system, we handle the "red tape" so you can focus on training.

MENTORSHIP TRAINING
To ensure that Apprenticeship adds value to your production right away, our programs place Mentorship Training as the first priority. Our 15-hour Train the Trainer seminar gives your seasoned and advancing skilled workers a practical toolkit for turning their everyday work into training experiences for their team members. We instill values of lifelong learning and leadership, motivating them to pass on their experience as a legacy to the next generation.
