“The team at Adia is excited to be partnering with CONNSTEP to discover additive manufacturing integration efforts for Connecticut businesses,” said Nick Gondek, Director of Additive Manufacturing and Principal of Adia.

Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, is transforming the manufacturing industry. The advanced technology used in everything from aerospace to the medical field, is endlessly customizable. Capable of creating complex geometries, it also allows for rapid prototyping as well as on-demand production, reduces waste, and can simplify the supply chain process.

Since 2010, Cromwell-based Adia has focused on accelerating the adoption of additive manufacturing through their wide range of 3D printing services. Their expert team of engineers and advisers guides businesses through the additive manufacturing landscape, taking an all-encompassing approach to create unique solutions leading to the best possible results.

“CONNSTEP works with businesses across Connecticut to find opportunities for top-line growth and bottom-line improvements, and this aligns well with our focus of finding additive manufacturing application opportunities for businesses that achieves the same goals,” said Gondek.

From end-to-end consulting services and comprehensive training to service and the provision of cutting-edge equipment, software, and materials, Adia uses their unmatched expertise to create customized, strategic additive integration plans.

“Partnering with Adia will allow CONNSTEP to bring a significant new benefit to the market,” said Beatriz Gutierrez, CONNSTEP President and CEO.

“By adopting additive technology, Connecticut small and medium-sized manufacturers can position themselves at the forefront of innovation and competitiveness.”
