After years of development, the CMMC is almost here. CONNSTEP, the NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) regional authority will review the newly released Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 proposed rule. CMMC adds an independent 3rd party verification or official DoD portal scores submission component to the DoD contracting regulations that will affect all DoD subcontractors.
