This four-hour workshop will cover the major changes in the 2015 revision of the ISO 9001 standard, their implications, and how they represent an opportunity for your company to derive maximum value from its quality management system by aligning it more closely with overall business processes and objectives. It is designed for a cross-functional leadership team of up to 12 individuals.
The interactive presentation will include team exercises to illustrate approaches that your company can take to implement key provisions of the standard in a way that not only ensures compliance, but more importantly helps drive overall business performance. Also included will be a team exercise to assess your company’s status against key new clauses of the standard, designed to illustrate the integrated nature of the changes and the expectations for leadership involvement.
Topics to be covered include:
- global, strategic and operational factors behind the revision
- changes in the high-level structure of the standard and their implications
- overview of the major changes to the clauses in the standard, with an emphasis on:
– the context of the organization
– risk-based thinking
– the increased emphasis on the role of leadership
- team self-assessment against specific clauses of context of the organization and risk-based thinking
