STUFF Magazine Profiles Opportunities for Next Generation of Manufacturers

In support of Manufacturing Month, CONNSTEP sponsored a new annual manufacturing publication for the state of Connecticut. The publication serves the dual purpose of attracting young talent from the ranks of high schools and colleges to a career in manufacturing while profiling a variety of manufacturers and the opportunities that exist for the next generation of skilled workers. CONNSTEP leadership contributed to the content of this new publication and advanced its position as the states’ MEP center.
CONNSTEP’s president Bonnie Del Conte sets the tone for the publication by offering up sage career advice in the manufacturing industry (page 3). Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Paggiloi shared his thoughts in an article titled “Changing the Narrative” about the struggles of the manufacturing industry to shake off its decades-old perceptions (page 24). CONNSTEP is profiled as a NIST MEP center along with its product and service offerings that help manufacturing businesses grow and be more competitive (pages 46-47).
