CONNSTEP Helps Private Companies Gain Insight on Determining Value and Worth

(ROCKY HILL, Conn., June 1, 2017) – CONNSTEP recently hosted a business valuation seminar aimed at baby boomer, private company owners in Connecticut who may be planning to exit or sell their businesses in the near future.
Guest presenters and industry experts Mike Camerota and Roy Johnson from Touchstone Advisors shared various approaches to help attendees better understand what they need to know to determine their company’s current value and the price they might expect for it. Attendees learned that timing is key, who the best buyers are, where to find them and why they will pay more. During the discussion, Camerota urged them to develop their management teams and to consider changing up their revenue streams to recurring ones.
