Q-Tran, Inc., established in 1993, is a family run business with owners that are 5th generation in the lighting industry. Our products were developed by John Tremaine, Sr. out of a need for architectural grade, remote transformers that would be able to eliminate noise and heat, enhance the quality of light output, and install with a degree of flexibility.

Over the past 20 years, Q-Tran has become the choice of top specifiers, architects and engineers around the world.  We specialize in making indoor and outdoor power supplies that run all the halogen and LED lights for your indoor as well as outdoor needs. Our products offer multiple options for the system to be installed, from surface mounting to recess mounting and from direct burial to a complete line of accessories, from wires to connectors for your landscape setup. Made in Milford, Connecticut by a dedicated team, we power high end interior and landscape jobs around the globe, from the White House’s private residence to the 9/11 Memorial, from Win Las Vegas to the Museum of Modern Art, and from high-end residences to hotels like the Ritz and Four Seasons.
