HABCO Industries provides ground support and test equipment to the United States armed forces and foreign militaries, commercial aerospace manufacturers, and industrial and power generation providers.

Many of HABCO’s products are approved for servicing both rotary and fixed wing aircraft. HABCO also produces customized prototypes and products to meet unique client needs.

The company was founded by Henry A. Backmann, a former Pratt & Whitney Aircraft engineer, in 1970, as a vendor to United Technologies Corp. and its divisions, Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Hamilton Sundstrand and Sikorsky Aircraft. The company expanded its product line to meet the needs of engine and airframe OEMs, airline maintenance shops and MRO facilities worldwide.

HABCO has been implementing Lean since 2007 and has received numerous awards such as NASA Supplier of the year, AME Excellence in Manufacturing Award and most recently earned UTC Supplier Gold status.
