More than half of Connecticut companies (52 percent) continue to record flat or declining sales, and the top barriers to growth have been a lack of sales infrastructure and an overreliance on too few customers.
In response to this, CONNSTEP has created an educational offering that helps manufacturers assess what prevents them from growing and provides training and personalized guidance on how to eliminate those growth barriers and increase their sales and revenues.
The new CONNSTEP Business Growth Program was the focus of a 90-minute breakfast preview earlier this week for 35 clients in attendance, where consultants worked with the manufacturers in the audience to specifically identify “blind spots” in their companies that limit new business, along with a formula for the development of a solid, unique value proposition.
Manufacturing executives at the meeting participated in a hands-on demonstration of the Revenue Throughput Analyzer™ (RTA), a proprietary tool that is a central component of CONNSTEP’s Business Growth Program. CONNSTEP has partnered with Jose Palomino, the CEO of Value Prop Interactive and a member of the faculty at Villanova (pictured above with CONNSTEP President Bonnie Del Conte) to present the offering in 2016.
