  2. Prepare and submit Achievement Report to CONNSTEP.  Achievement reports will be due at the start of each calendar quarter:  January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1.  Achievement reports not received in time to process before the Annual Shingo Prize International Conference or the CONNSTEP Manufacturers' Advantage Conference will be recognized in accordance with the following year's conference schedule.
  3. CONNSTEP assembles a team of examiners to review and score Achievement Report.  If the Achievement Report scores above 500 points, a Site Visit will be granted and the applicant will be contacted to make arrangements for the site visit.  If the Achievement Report scores less than 500 points, the applicant will be provided with a feedback report generated by the examination team.
  4. Site Visit.  A site visit will be scheduled as soon as possible and will be scheduled throughout the year dependant on the applicant's submission date and availability.
  5. Following the site visit, the final score will be provided to CONNSTEP.  If the score is above 800 points, the applicant will be referred for a Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence and the Prize will be conferred at the next annual Shingo Prize International Conference.  If the final score is between 600 and 799 points, the applicant will receive the Shingo Medallion indicative of achievement.  The Shingo Medallions will be distributed at the CONNSTEP annual conference.
