Basic Blueprint Reading
All sessions have reached capacity. If you would like more information on this training option, please contact us at 800-266-6672.
The Blueprint is the primary method of conveying manufacturing requirements. A full and clear understanding of all aspects of a print will ensure that processes, inspections and results are satisfactory to the customer.
Basic Blueprint Reading is a no-cost, half-day interactive session that will provide attendees with the necessary Blue Print background to successfully complete their job requirements. Attendees will be educated on blue print descriptions, projections and views, symbols, notes, information blocks, revisions, scale, dimensioning, lines, cut-a-ways, sections and more.
Without a full and clear understanding of the Blueprint,
consistent success in production is not possible.
Who Should Attend?
Every level of production must be able to find, interpret and
understand the information on the blueprint. This basic
understanding is a fundamental aspect of success for every employee
on the production floor.
