Leadership is the art of influencing behavior in others. If we are in a position of authority, we are constantly impacting others' performance through our own behavior, whether we are conscious of it or not. What we think impacts the subtle and not-so-subtle messages we send in profound ways.

In this multi-part webcast series, you will learn how to assess leadership skills and attitudes, increase awareness of how we all unconsciously telegraph attitudes through body language and actions, and develop conscious changes in your thinking that will provide clear and productive leadership messages.

Session 1: How to Assess Your Leadership Skills and Attitudes.
In the first webcast, Carmen Brickner will:
  Define generally desirable and undesirable behaviors of subordinates and team members;
  Explore some common attitudes of successful leaders; and
  Link conscious and unconscious behaviors with those thought patterns.
You will also be provided with an assessment to help evaluate your impact on others' effectiveness.

Session 2: How You Unconsciously Telegraph Your Attitudes through Body Language and Actions
In the second webcast, Carmen Brickner will:
 Define the components of communication;
  Share common scenarios of how people read our actions and words;
  Break down what we commonly do wrong and why it doesn't work; and
  Clarify what happens when your words and actions are incongruous.

Session 3:  How You (and others) will Recognize that You are Consciously Leading
In this third and last webcast, Carmen Brickner will:
  Share ways to tell that you are better prepared and more authentic in your leadership;

The overall objective of the three-part webcast series is to equip you, as a leader, with the self-awareness of your driving attitudes and the skills to improve your leadership behaviors and communications.
