(Rocky Hill, Connecticut) – CONNSTEP announced today Dymotek Corporation is the featured Made in CT manufacturer of the week. Located in Ellington, Dymotek is a contract manufacturer, specializing in injection molding and assembly of thermoplastics and silicone, including 2-shot capability with either or both raw materials.

For over twenty years, Dymotek has maintained a track record for designing, molding, and bringing to market innovative, proprietary products. Originally established as TRUEBRO, Dymotek changed their name to reflect their commitment to remain “ever dynamic”. Their state-of-the-art engineering, molding, and distribution facility located houses industry-leading robotic molding and assembly systems. Combined with their six point service philosophy, Dymotek’s tagline, “Beyond Parts, We Mold Solutions” rings true. They view customer challenges as their own, leveraging every opportunity to excel through innovation.

“Contrary to what they feared, by implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement, Dymotek was able to retain current workforce levels, add additional positions, and save significant operational costs,” said Bonnie Del Conte, President and CEO of CONNSTEP.

The Made in CT Program (www.made-in-ct.com) is a dedicated feature on the CONNSTEP website, creating a directory for the state’s manufacturers to showcase products and services. Eligible companies can register to receive a complimentary company profile page to share company history, products/services and company news.  The goal of the program is to showcase the products made in the Nutmeg State and highlight the contributions of the manufacturing community to the public. Additionally, the program provides social media forums for manufacturers to connect with one another and discuss industry issues.

“CONNSTEP is excited to provide an opportunity for our manufacturers to benefit from greater exposure and to be recognized for the important impact they make on the Connecticut community,“ Bonnie Del Conte, “The Made in CT Program offers local supply chain connections, sector peer networking and greater visibility to legislators and other economic stakeholders.”

All participating companies have the opportunity to become the featured manufacturer of the week. As the featured manufacturer of the week, Dymotek will be prominently displayed on the CONNSTEP website as well as on the “Made in CT” Facebook page, LinkedIn group and Twitter feed (@CTMade).
