Defining a Problem Workshop

Solving a problem becomes difficult when the problem is poorly defined or when the complexity of the problem is not fully understood. The way a problem is stated and grasped has impact on the number, quality, and type of proposed solutions.

Too often, initiatives start without a clearly defined problem and inevitably end in failure, so before jumping to solution mode, you need to state the problem in measurable terms.

Join CONNSTEP for a two hour workshop, and learn to effectively define a problem before embarking on identifying potential solutions.

This session will introduce you to a structured approach to creating a problem statement, establishing baseline metrics and communicating the problem.

The sessions will run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and will be held at CONNSTEP, 1090 Elm Street, Suite 202, Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Class size will be limited to twelve participants to allow for a better learning opportunity. Pre-registration is required.

  • Fee: $25.00, to attend this session
