MFGDay14_Logo_Date_ColorOctober is nearly here, marking not only the changing of leaves and the onset of crisper nights, but also the start of Manufacturing Month.

It’s hard to believe the nationally recognized movement was instituted just two years ago. With over 1,100 events being hosted across the United States on October 3rd (this year’s official Manufacturing Day),  it’s clear we have quite a dedicated manufacturing community – one that demonstrates tremendous enthusiasm when it comes to opening its doors to educate others about the industry.

CONNSTEP is proud to support Manufacturing Month by spreading the word about upcoming events in Connecticut. We know of two CONNSTEP clients, Dymotek and The Marion Manufacturing Company, that are hosting open houses on October 3 and invite you to take a tour of their facilities. What better way to learn about the industry firsthand than by visiting these two dynamic manufacturers!

Dymotek, an injection molding manufacturer, will host two separate events on October 3rd. One will be at their headquarters in Ellington, where they’ve operated for over 20 years.  The other will be a grand opening event at their newest location in Somers.

The Marion Manufacturing Company will be hosting an open house at their facility in Cheshire where visitors can learn about the intricacies of the metal stamping process.

We hope you all enjoy this year’s events. Feel free to spread the word!
