I am honored to be appointed the new president of CONNSTEP and will work diligently towards the continued success which this organization has achieved during the last 12 years.
The CONNSTEP team has assisted hundreds of Connecticut manufacturers in the areas of Lean solutions, environmental management, quality systems, enterprise growth and human resources.
Today's environment is challenging for the manufacturing sector. However, I feel that Connecticut manufacturers are poised for growth in today's global economy because of the ability to obtain services through resources, such as CONNSTEP, and are reaching new levels of innovation, becoming more efficient and competitive through implementation of advanced technologies, strategic marketing and leadership development.
By focusing on programs such as these, combined with on-going training for a highly skilled workforce, Connecticut manufacturers will be able to obtain long-term prosperity and secure a bright economic future.
